Question: Q: Steam games on my Mac have stopped working Only recently, and I'm not sure why (could possibly be Steam updated) my computer can no longer run any Steam games. My computer is an old Mac Pro running on Yosemite, but even being so old it should be okay to run this stuff. May 06, 2013 I would like to run some of the old educational cds I have but none of them will work on my mac. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8. I was wondering if anyone out there could post a step by step tutorial to getting old games to run.

If an app isn't working as you expect
After you upgrade macOS, you might find that some third-party apps don't work or act as you expect. An app might not open, run, or install, even if you try to reinstall it.
You might see this issue if:

- Your Mac has software installed on it that conflicts with updates to System Integrity Protection in macOS High Sierra.
